7 Days of Prayer with Fasting

What is Renewal Week?

Twice a year as a church we embark on 7 days of prayer with fasting we call "Renewal Week."  We will meet together virtually each morning via zoom to pray together.  Monday-Friday at 6:00am and Saturday at 8:00am.  You may join any of the morning zoom prayer meetings using the link below.


We will also meet in person each evening Monday-Friday at 7:00pm in the church sanctuary.

7 Days of Prayer & Fasting   JANUARY 3-10 2021

This is a time of seeking the face of God together. It is exciting when we anticipate the possibilities and breakthroughs that lie before us as we come together in agreement.  


THREE OPPORTUNITIES TO BE A PART


(1)  A TIME OF PRAYER WITH FASTING

  • Choose a day or days that you will commit to abstain from solid food.
  • Read Pastor Paul’s booklet on Fasting with Prayer if you would like more information about the power of fasting.  

(2)  ZOOM PRAYER MEETINGS | MONDAY - FRIDAY @ 6 AM | SATURDAY @ 8 AM

  • Zoom ID: 837-2989-8074   Passcode: Pray
  • Choose a day or days to join this prayer group.
  • Each day, our prayer will revolve around the Prayer Focus of that day and special requests that have been submitted.

(3) NIGHTLY PRAYER IN THE CHURCH SANCTUARY | 7 to 9 PM | MONDAY - FRIDAY

  • Informal. Just come and bask in God’s presence along with other believers.
  • Stay as long as you wish. Kneel. Stand. Walk. Pray freely.
  • Bring your Bible and notepad. Let God speak to you.  
  • Pastors will be there to pray with anyone desiring special prayer.
  • Some may want to bring their families a few minutes for special prayer and anointing with the pastors.


DAILY PRAYER FOCUS

MONDAY JAN 4 | PRAISE & WORSHIP

We start the week with praise and thanksgiving to God for His many blessings. Today is praise day! We lay aside thoughts of all our needs and we concentrate on giving God the glory for all He has done.

  • Read: Psalm 150   II Chronicles 20:14-19   Hebrews 13:15,16    I Peter 2:9
  • Make a list of all the spiritual and material blessings you have been given.
  • Allow gratefulness to multiply the favor of God in your life.
  • Give God praise for the people He has strategically placed in your life.
  • Begin a record of answered prayer and intentionally, daily thank God.

TUESDAY JAN 5 | FAMILIES & MARRIAGES

We are facing a serious assault on families. The Biblical concept of marriage and family is being attacked by sociologists, educators and by our culture. The foundation of the society is the family. 

  • Read: Eph. 5:17-33   Ezra 8:21   Psalm 127:3,4  Colossians 3:13,14      
  • List each one of your family members and their specific needs.
  • Pray for marriages to be restored and become strong.
  • Pray that our children will grow in the knowledge and Christ and discover God’s purpose in life at a young age.
  • Pray that those who have gone astray will be brought back into a strong relationship with God.

WEDNESDAY JAN 6 | OUR NATION & WORLD

  • Read: I Timothy 2:1-2   I Peter 2:17    Romans 13:1   Proverbs 14:34
  • Pray for leaders in our nation and in the world.
  • Pray that those in authority will come to know Christ and trust in Him.
  • That they would promote righteousness and make wise, God-led decisions for the good of the people. 
  • That there will be an end to this world-wide pandemic.
  • That revival will come to America and to the nations.
  • That the Gospel will go forth to all the world. Missionaries. Name them.
  • That we may worship God in freedom and peace.
  • For nations where spiritual and material poverty rules and people are oppressed.
  • For the persecuted church in strategic parts of the world.

THURSDAY JAN 7 | OUR CITY & REGION

  • Read:  Jeremiah 29:7   Acts 18:9-10   Acts 8:8
  • Pray for the hearts of our neighbors and friends will be touched by the love of Christ Jesus.
  • That leaders will come to know Christ Jesus and seek to follow Him in decisions that are made.
  • That there will be peace in our streets and neighborhoods.
  • Pray that the crime rate will decrease in 2021.
  • That the schools our children attend and learn will be places of safety.
  • Pray that businesses will flourish and thrive.
  • Pray for divine favor in the economic condition of our community and city and state.

FRIDAY JAN 8 | PEOPLE COME TO CHRIST

  • Read:  Ephesians 2:8-10   John 7:37   John 3:16   2 Peter 3:9
  • Pray the lord of the harvest will send out laborers. (Matthew 9:38)
  • Pray for an increase in salvations and baptisms in our Sunday services.
  • Make a list of 7 people, friends and relatives, and specifically intercede for them.
  • Pray that believers will be aware of their need to invite others to know Christ.
  • That the church will be better equipped to share our faith.

SATURDAY JAN 9 | THE CHURCH

  • READ: Ephesians 3:14-19    Colossians 1:3-18    Acts 20:28   Ephesians 4:16
  • Pray that the church around the world will be protected and walk in God’s power.
  • Pray for the churches in our nation and community.
  • Pray for CFC, that the manifest presence of God will attend all that we do.
  • Pray for your pastors, that they minister with wisdom, clarity and anointing.
  • Ask God to pour out His spirit on meetings.
  • Pray for unity and harmony.
  • Anointing and joy on the worship teams.
  • Our youth to grow in the knowledge of Christ and impact their world.
  • That our little children will be drawn to God and come to know Him.
  • That the Dream Team will serve with joy and not grow weary in doing God’s will.
