Missions We Support

Our approach to national and international ministry is to provide support for those

who are on the front lines, doing the work of evangelism and church planting. We love to provide for their personal support and their various projects. 10 percent of all tithe and offerings goes to missions. Any gift designated for a mission goes entirely to them.

Justin & Ashley ross

Sparrow Missions is a Kentucky-based 501(c)(3) non-profit missions organization for individuals and groups of all ages.   Founded in 2009, our heart is to mobilize Christians and equip them to fulfill Christ’s Great Commission, minister to human needs, and live out God’s will for their lives.  We strive to motivate believers to pursue Jesus Christ and take His life-giving message to the ends of the earth!

Sparrow Missions is an interdenominational organization and is not associated with any particular church or denomination.  Our staff, Board of Directors, and team members come from a wide range of evangelical denominations.  We believe strongly in creating unity within the Body of Christ.

"Because where you live should not determine if you live."

Community Outreach: Our projects are developed with                                    local organizations and church that have a proven track                                    record meeting the needs of their communities.

Feeding Programs: We work to alleviate the suffering                                       caused by chronic food shortages by providing good,                                       hearty meals as often as possible wherever we serve.

Medical Services: Medical clinics meet the basic needs of                                 children and their communities in remote areas, when                                       travel to hospitals isn't feasible or affordable.

Robert and diane wellMAN

For over 40 years, the Wellmans have served in Recife and the northeast region of Brazil, investing their lives as church planters and overseers to the pastors and congregations they have planted. Every year, they conduct training and worship events for their network of churches.

They have also given themselves to establishing daycares and schools for the underprivileged of their communities, caring for children so that single mothers can be gainfully employed. The lives of thousands of children have been impacted through their sacrificial service.

Since Pastor Robert's passing in 2017, Diane has continued to serve in the oversight of the ministry.

bryan and STEPHANY Carey

The Careys lead an amazing and unique work for Christ by serving as peace makers in the nations of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Through bringing together people from diverse cultures and backgrounds they are able to show the love of Jesus in tangible and engaging ways.

"It's difficult to describe a place like Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH). The entire Balkan region is fascinatingly complex, deeply unsettled, and yet distinctly charming. We’ve fallen in love with the beautiful normalcy of BiH’s ethno-religious diversity, the incredible people who live here, and their wisdom and relentless courage.  Our work here is to support peacemaking efforts and to include the local Protestant Church into that work to the extent that we, as foreigners, are invited to do so."

The Careys have two small children,  Every where this family goes, they winning hearts to Jesus.

ARC is an association of relational churches working with church planters and church leaders to provide support, guidance and resources to launch and grow life-giving churches.

Christ Family Church was not launched under the auspices of ARC but we are members of the association and regularly support their mission of church planting.
